Things are NOT looking good for Charles In Charge star Scott Baio.
On the heels of former co-star Nicole Eggert accusing the actor of sexual abuse when she was a minor, another Charles In Charge co-star is going public with his own allegations against Scott: Alexander Polinsky.
Alexander, who was on the show when he was still a minor, is ready to come forward with his story. At a press conference Wednesday, he will be detailing his experiences during his time with Scott.
Nicole will also be present at the press conference, and will reportedly also give a short statement.
During Nicole’s guest appearance on The Talk last week, Alexander released a statement supporting her claims and to add his own:
“Working on the set of Charles in Charge from age 11 to 15 was no picnic, it was a toxic environment. I witnessed Scott Baio acting inappropriately towards Nicole Eggert during my first year of working on the show. I walked in on them together behind the set. Nicole was on Scott‘s lap and he did not appreciate my intrusion. He yelled at me and called me various homophobic slurs. Growing up on the show I received regular verbal attacks, mental abuse and I also suffered a physical assault at the hands of Scott Baio.”
Stay tuned as the story unfolds.
