Ariana Grande’s 1st Concert: POPSTAR! EXCLUSIVE!

Tonight was the night!

OMG…we just got back from Ariana  Grande’s first-ever concert…and it was amazing! We put our hearts up for so long our arms fell asleep. But it’s okay because our legs were wide awake, dancing wildly as Ariana showed off her unbelievable vocals and blew verbal kisses to the sold-out crowd. (BTW, we’ve never seen Irving Plaza here in NYC soooo full!)

After a rockin’ opening by Action Item (love those boys), Ariana came out in one of her signature party dresses and sang a crazygood version of Rihanna’s “Only Girl (in the World)” with much-appreciated assistance from her cute dancerboys. (Pictured above before the show from her Twitter.)

Almost overcome with emotion, Ari’s commentary between songs was warm and sweet—she couldn’t stop thanking us all for being there for her.

Next, she did a cover of the classic ’60s tune “Where the Boys Are” by Connie Francis, belting it out before bringing a fan, James, up on stage for a photo op.

Explaining that she’s working hard to incorporate an old-school vibe into her new-school music, she treated us to a brand-new tune of hers that nobody’s heard until now, “Honeymoon Avenue.” It’s a safe bet to pop up on her 2012 album.

In light of the season, she then gave us her version of the Mariah Carey classic Christmas song, “All I Want for Christmas is You.” She really does sing it as well as Mariah…or better!

Then she pretend-ended her set with “Put Your Hearts Up,” but nobody believed she was finished.

After her dancers did an amazing routine set to Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” Ari returned and did a fabulous and BIG dance number—disco queen Donna Summer’s “Last Dance.”

Ari’s HOT dancers!

It was a memorable night for everyone, but it wasn’t over…Ari came out after for a long VIP meet-and-greet, stopping to hug and pose for pictures with everybody there, including friends, family (hi, MOM!) and her legion of NYC-area fans. Her bro Frankie, who helped her put the show together, was bursting with pride…and promised an even bigger and better show next time.

We felt like royalty with this!

This girl is going all the way to the top with that voice!

And now, some video proof…be sure to comment back if you think she sounds good!
