Last weekend, Big Time Rush capped off their amazing Better With You tour with a gigantic show at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL—and Popstar! was there to take it all in! Kendall, Logan, Carlos and James put on an amazing show as part of Universal’s spectacular Mardi Gras celebration that had everyone on their feet dancing and having a great time. But, we’re getting ahead of ourselves…
Before BTR hit the stage, Popstar! Editor Girl Abbey got to hang with the guys backstage, where she was greeted by hugs and kisses on the cheek from everyone! We took some quick photos (head to our gallery to see!) before the guys had to start their vocal warmups. “I’m sorry we didn’t get to talk more!” Carlos said as he was being swept away.
Then, we were escorted to the very very front of the amphitheater to watch BTR’s fabulous concert. Don’t worry, we got some of the highlights on video for you!
The BTR concert was part of an amazing lineup of singers, which included Kelly Clarkson and Hot Chelle Rae, brought to the park in honor of Universal Studio’s huge Mardi Gras party (which continues until April 14). Popstar! had a blast sampling the Cajun cuisine of New Orleans and collecting Mardi Gras beads during the parade before taking in the BTR concert as the grand finale. We can’t wait for Universal to announce the performers for the summer concert series!
