Hey there! The band Racing Kites came into our office this week and they were super nice and funny! We even had a "best burrito" debate - Moe's vs. Qdoba vs. Chipotle hehe! (Mixed reaction!) They also spoke about their love of Miley and Jonas! They also said their name comes from a child's poem! 

Then, the guys performed! Check out their brand new song "Home Is Where The Heart Is!"

They also performed "Be My Runaway!"

And shared their ideal first dates! :)

Their digital EP Right Here, Right Now comes out October 6th, 2009 on iTunes and all other digital retailers!

Hey!! what's up??? we are currently in the studio recording new music and we thought it would be really cool to have YOU sing along with us on one of our songs. Here's how you can be a part of our song that we are re-recording "Call It Sunrise" We're going to upload a clip on youtube, all you have to do is sing along with Alex and send us an mp3 of the recording!!! (If you need any help the demo version of the song is on our Myspace.com/racingkites page) We included the lyrics so record them via Garageband, iphone, camera and send it to WeAreRacingKites@gmail.com by the end of the weekend!! (deadline is the 27th of July) get your friends together and make it fun!!!

BAND BIO: At the heart of New Jersey’s Racing Kites are five best friends who share the same goal and passion for music. Says singer/songwriter, Alex Ziabko: "Music is my oxygen; I'm writing and playing music with my best friends and I wouldn't have it any other way.” Ziabko and drummer Rick Szpakowski bonded over a jukebox at their part-time job, listening to some of their favorite artists like Fall Out Boy, Something Corporate and The Starting Line. Their love of music sparked a fire in both boys to start their own band and Racing Kites became a reality. Rounding out the lineup are Matt Howard (guitar), Matthew Federer (guitar) and Preston Rahbari (bass). Their powerful live shows, a steady tour schedule that included Bamboozle East, and opening slots for Cartel and All Time Low, have gained the band a loyal following. New tour dates have been announced.
