ROSHON FEGAN

What's a typical day for Roshon Fegan? It’s a day filled with fun and energy. After school, I start working on my music. When I’m all done with that, I like to plug in my iPod and have a little dance session, as well as play basketball and skateboard. To chill, I play some video games, and check my MySpace (MySpace.com/3inaRo)—you know, the regular teen routine!...I played Sander, a dancing hip-hop/reggaetón artist in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock. I got the chance to fly out to Canada and had the time of my life shooting and working with everyone in the cast. It was awesome getting to know the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato—while shooting the film, I made lots of friends. I’m so grateful to be a part of such a great project. I also did the Camp Rock Freestyle Jam with Alyson Stoner, where we got to teach the original moves from the movie…I've been doing music since I was six, beating on pots and pans in the kitchen. Since then, I have advanced to creating my own beats and becoming a music producer. Playing three instruments (the drums, piano and guitar) has allowed me to grow as a real musician. Going by the name Ya Boy Ro, I have defined my own style of music and my own image. My music is a unique cross between hip-hop, pop and R&B, so you can call it “hip-pop R&B.” I have even created my own independent record label and entertainment company (3inaRo Entertainment), which I operate through http://myspace.com/3inaRoentertainment …While participating for the first time at the 2008 Disney Channel Games, I met many Disney channel stars, like Miley Cyrus, Cole and Dylan Sprouse, Moises Arias, the Cheetah Girls, Chelsea Staub and many more. I also met my good friend Cody Linley, who also enjoys beat-boxing and free-styling. Cody and I became instant homies and had a jam session with Disney stars including Chelsea. Cody and I also started our own Web-based show, known as The Ro and Co Show, where we free-style, beat-box and interact with our fans. I even got to be a guest star on Dancing With the Stars thanks to Cody, which was fun…Yes, things are good for this young popstar!...That’s it for now. Remember: (hip-)POP is good! Laterz!
