After approximately 495,003 teasers and trailers and tweets about his “soon-to-drop” music video for “Boyfriend,” Justin Bieber has gone ahead and released the thing. And it is, well, different. It’s different than the clips he teased us with—the blue-hued shots of Justin with all the ladies’ hands and dripping icicles, it turns out, were a false start—and it’s certainly a different side of Justin. Just like JB’s shaggy signature hairstyle, the bubblegum days of “Baby” are gone for good.
The bowling alley fades to a distant memory as Justin recklessly drives fancy cars (where is your seatbelt?!) and dances with mid-drift baring hotties, one of which happens to look a lot like his actual GF. But hey, it’s a party on on a rooftop parking lot and Justin is having one heck of a time.

Thanks MTV for pointing out that Justin’s “Boyfriend” video is pretty dang similar to N*SYNC’s “Girlfriend” video from 2002! Is JB paying homage to last generation’s Justin?
