Just days after Cardi B and Offset heated up the Jingle Ball stage at The Forum in L.A., the “Bodak Yellow” rapper dropped a huge bomb on social media that has fans shookt – she and her hubby have called it quits!

In a video post on Instagram, Cardi opened up about their decision to separate.

“So, everybody been bugging me and everything, and you know, I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now,” she began.

“We’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners — you know he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to. And we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time,” she continues.

“It’s nobody fault – I guess we just grew out of love,” she says, revealing, “but we are not together anymore.”

She concluded her message with talks of finalizing their split with a divorce, but assures fans that she’ll always “have a lot of love” for Offset.

“I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”

And with Offset commenting, “Y’all won” on the post, does this mean it’s official?

Rap’s it couple have only been married for a little over a year before this shocking announcement. They tied the knot in a secret ceremony in their bedroom back in September 20, 2017, with only the officiant and Cardi’s cousin as a witness.

She shared a TBT photo of their special day a year later to commemorate their first anniversary.

Even though they already tied the knot on the DL, Offset still popped the question a month later – in front of a cheering crowd at the Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center.

But things weren’t always so smooth for the then-loved-up pair. In January, Offset became the subject of a sex tape cheating scandal, which Cardi confirmed, but asked for privacy at the time to “make a decision in my own times with my heart and mind.”

She stood by her man, and defended her decision to stay in a comment on her since-deleted post.

“Well if people are talking about it and keep asking me how i feel about the situation why not let them know? Right or wrong? No, it’s not right for a n—a to cheat… But what you want me to do? Go f–k me another n—a? start all over again and get cheated on again? This s— happens to everyone and i be too You too… People handle they relationship different soo,” she wrote.

In the months leading up to the release of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, pregnancy rumors began to swirl. And Cardi, being Cardi, revealed her baby bump in spectacular fashion – by putting on a dazzling performance in a tight-fitting white gown on Saturday Night Live.

A month before she was due to give birth, TMZ broke the news that Cardi and Offset were already married. The “Be Careful” rapper took to Instagram stories to share her thoughts.

“There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other, was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married,” she wrote.

“We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress no make up and no ring! I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me [to] have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!”

“Well now since you lil [nosy] f—s know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock,” she concluded her post.

In July, they welcomed their first child together, daughter Kulture Kiari.

And, so far, the former Love and Hip Hop New York star and the Migos rapper have been sharing plenty of lovey-dovey photos of the two of them.

Like Offset calling Cardi his first lady when Migos won Best Pop/Rock Group at the AMAs.

Fans are hoping this is just another of Cardi’s epic pranks on social media.

Cardi B and Offset’s reps have yet to comment on the announcement.
