Debby arrived in a stunning white limo with her brother and BFFs, and immediately talked with us on the red carpet about how this was the most exciting night of her life. She was ADORABLY grateful to Popstar! for sponsoring her special evening (“Thank you a million times a million!”) but she actually got emotional when Editor Guy Matt SURPRISED her by presenting her with the Popstar! Award for Poptastic Female Newcomer…Debby had NO IDEA she’d won! (You can find out the other winners in Popstar! AUG09, on sale July 7th.)

The venue was perfect, half indoor and half outdoor, with a stage and plenty of space for dancing, a gifting suite and of course a creative twist on the typical photo booth by Keshot.com that you’ve already read about on this blog!

The stars began arriving right away, with a very sharp Jason Dolley leading the pack in his cool Phantom of the Opera mask. Jason’s got something up his sleeve, TV-wise, but can’t talk about it…yet!

JUL09 issue that was featured in the party’s gift bags), Victoria Justice with Josh Hutcherson and Simon Curtis (they were missing Avan Jogia, but were otherwise the perfect party troupe as always), Carter Jenkins (boy, has he grown up and turned even cuter), Doc Shaw (you have to love a guy in a top hat—that’s how to make an entrance), Ashley Argota (so bubbly and fun), Monet (meeting our editor for the first time after YEARS of being in the mag), Carlson Young (ultra chic in white), Steve Rushton (Hollywood’s next big thing), Keana Texeira (stunning and seemed to be everyone’s BFF), Brittany Curran (gorgeous eyes), Chelsea Makela (from Dance Flick, beaming and beautiful on the carpet), Lindsey Black (a real charmer who laughed it off when we apologized for misspelling her name in print recently), Matt Shively (rocking some seriously trendy glasses), the Rosso Twins (loved their masks), Max Ehrich (the cutie from HSM3 who we HEAR could be on the verge of another, similarly huge project) and Chelsea Staub (who sweetly came directly after another event).

It was truly amazing how many young stars showed up for the party!!! We can’t even name them all!!!
Debby had Awakening—the dance troupe from America’s Got Talent—perform a couple of times, her bro Chris made his debut as a singer (he was GREAT, and it was his first time ever in front of an audience!) and rising-star singer Josh Golden wowed the rowdy crowd with an amazing performance, too!
