Justin Bieber‘s new record Believe has scored the pop star his first number one album in the United Kingdom.
The 18-year-old’s much anticipated project fought off competition from British singer Cheryl Cole’s A Million Lights, which debuted in second place, and an excited Bieber took to his Twitter account to thank fans for their overwhelming support.
He wrote, “All the experts said WE wouldnt (sic) come in at #1 in the UK…I have never had a #1 album there…but u all BELIEVED”.
