Deadpool 2 was definitely BIG in the box office, earning $657 million big ones and counting. It also scored the second largest opening for an R-Rated film (the top spot is held by, what else? Deadpool).

The franchise’s continued success has been grabbing the attention of lots of people, especially that of superstar rapper Kanye West. And we know he’s not one to shy away from sharing his thoughts.

Yesterday (June 12), Kanye took to Twitter to give the peeps behind Deadpool a shoutout and offer his music. “I love both Deadpool movies [fire emojis] I heard tracks in it that sound similar to mine…bro I would have cleared my music for Deadpool,” he wrote.

He continued to praise them in a second tweet, “your guys writing and approach is so innovative … I love how you guys break the 4th wall… thank you for being innovative and please know I’m down to clear next time.”

He didn’t really tag anyone. He’s just, you know, putting it out there.

But his message got a reply within the hour – from none other than Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds.

On Kanye’s observation that the movie’s songs were similar to his, Ryan jokingly replied, “Agree. I’m having a word with Céline Dion.”

The Deadpool 2 soundtrack features a pretty eclectic collection of songs, including some throwback tunes and the new Céline Dion original, “Ashes,” which Ryan was referring to in his tweet.

Will there be a Kanye collab for Deadpool 3? We can’t wait to find out!

But, in the meantime, Kanye has his plate full. On top of celebrating his 41st birthday, he dropped his album, Ye, earlier this month AND launched a racy fashion campaign for his Yeezy line – featuring Kim Kardashian doppelgangers in their birthday suits.
