Earlier this week, we had a super fun chat with actor Max Charles, who’s guest starred on Disney Channel’s Jessie and played Peezer in The Three Stooges. But Max got the role of a lifetime when he was cast as young Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man, which hit theaters today! Here’s a bit of our chat – Max’s brother, Logan, even hopped on the call for a few minutes!

Q: So where were you when you found out you got the part?

Max Charles: We were at our house and they called us and they told us. I was like screaming!

Q: Did you do anything to celebrate?

MC:  We went out to dinner at TGI Fridays and celebrated it.

Q: What was it like meeting Emma Stone?

MC: I went to meet Emma in her trailer and she was sitting on her couch and she dropped her pen. So we both reached down to get it and we bumped heads! We were laughing so hard. She was really nice.

Q: Was was it like actually shooting the movie?

MC: Well we filmed here in Los Angeles and also in New York. It was my first time to New York and I loved it. We had a hotel that had a perfect view of Times Square so we saw all the flashing lights and the pizza there is amazing!
