The audience voted, and the winner of Radio Disney’s N.B.T has been announced! Shealeigh, 13-year-old pop singer and songwriter from Chicago, has taken the title of this years Next Big Thing! The stars of Disney Channel congratulated her at the “N.B.T” finale concert
Shealeigh is going to have a new singled released by Disney Music Group. Her song “What Can I Say,” that she performed throughout “N.B.T,” is going to be featured in an upcoming Disney movie. And she also got the chance to open for Season Three’s winners Kicking Daisies.
Shealeigh has been singing since she was two-years-old and writing her own songs since she was 10. Shealeigh was moved by Beyonce during her concert, saying “This is what I want to do for the rest of my life!” She is also inspired by Adele for her captivating lyrics and Taylor Swift for being a strong role model.
After being annouced the winner of “N.B.T”, Shealeigh got the chance to open for Cody Simpson. Watch the video below!
