On Friday (June 8) at the Manchester leg of her Reputation tour, Taylor Swift paid tribute to all the victims of the 2017 Manchester bombing.
During her concert at Manchester Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England, Taylor sweetly gave a beautiful, powerful message that touched the hearts of everyone Read her heartfelt words here:
“You’ve shown that you’re never gonna let anyone forget about those victims. And you’ve shown that you have such incredible resilience to keep dancing and to keep the innocence and to keep the joy and to keep the excitement.
I just want to say, Manchester: It is such an honor to play for you tonight.
Taylor then went on to sing an acoustic version of her song “Dancing with Our Hands Tied.”
In other Taylor news, the huge star just helped out a charity who reached out to her by giving a huge donation! Karim Siddiqui of the KAMS Foundation told TMZ that he sent a letter to Taylor’s team asking for help, thinking he wouldn’t hear back from them.
But Taylor and her team responded, and generously sent bastketloads of items from her 1989 and Reputation tours to be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the charity.
Karim set up KAMS in honor of his cousin who died in a fatal motorcycle accident at 22. The foundation empowers underprivileged youth through sports and mentoring.
