The cast of The Handmaid’s Tale works hard, but they know how to have fun, too – and it involves singing along to Taylor Swift’s songs!
Elizabeth Moss got a nod for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role as June Osborne “Offred” in The Handmaid’s Tale. But while they’re pretty serious on cam, she revealed that she and the cast actually kick back and relax in between scenes.
“There’s a lot of Taylor Swift sing-alongs, joking around, a lot of Instagram,” the actress told E! News about how they unwind.
“We have fun, I mean, it’s work,” Elizabeth continued. “It’s our job, we’re not actually in Gilead, thank God, and it’s fun.”
And she does love what they do. “It’s a very special project to me, that’s very close to my heart,” Elizabeth shared, talking about the Hulu series. “And as hard as it is to believe, it’s actually really fun to work on, it’s an incredible group of people.”
Now, we know, when the scenes get too heavy, these guys know just how to shake it off, shake it off.
