Hey guys! Last night the higher-ups from Summit invited Popstar! to not one, but two of the exclusive Twilight DVD release parties!

Here is my account of the NYC party!

I got to the Penn Station Borders on 33rd st in NYC around 9pm. There were already lots of girls there, with bracelets with numbers. I went upstairs and was listening to a live Podcast. The special guest was Kimbra Hickey (http://www.myspace.com/kimbranyc) the “Hands of Twilight.” She is the one holding the apple on the book cover! Have you noticed her arms are also in the shape of a V for VAMPIRE? She was really pretty and friendly. I took a picture with her!
 

At 10:30pm I was taken downstairs. Minutes later, Edi Gathegi appeared (he plays the evil Laurent!)! He was one of the “surprise” cast members showing up at the release parties!! I got to interview him one on one and take some vids! He also signed 3 DVDs that we are giving away in our MAY09 issue! He was really nice and funny!
 
Later, we went upstairs where hundreds of girls were waiting to buy their copy of Twilight! Then Edi came out! The girls had no idea and screamed with excitement! He answered a lot of fan questions and gave away a lanyard which gave a lucky fan an autographed copy! The first 20 people on line DEFINITELY got autographed copies, and then people after the first 20 got autographed copies until they ran out! So nice of him to sign the movies! He is on the cover hehe!
 
It was really fun and great to be in the middle of the action! I was “tweeting” all night – read it on Twitter.com/PopstarMagazine!
