We couldn’t believe the incredible response we got for our win-a-date contest with Austin Mahone! We’ve narrowed it down to our 12 faves and now it’s up to Austin to pick the lucky girl!
Venisa, Ana, Jennette, Elena, Emily, Kaycee, Claudia, Janelle, Bella, Julia, Marissa and Veronica all did a great job of showcasing their personalities in the videos in addition to telling us how much they love Austin! Here are the finalists’ videos, in no particular order. Good luck, ladies!

I’m so proud of every girl that got selected, but truthfully…is it really fair to decide a day earlier than promised? I wanted to at least get to the top ten…this totally ruined my whole day
I’m sorry:( I completley agree with you. Even though i’m in the top ten, I totally know how you feel. I know how being let down can feel. I’m really sorry that whoever wanted to enter couldn’t. Who knows behind Popstars story though, maybe they had good reasoning? Everything happens for a reason:). And I truly am SORRY that you guys didn’t get a chance at this contest:( but I hear they’re having another contest with him so don’t lose hope:)

I stayed up to 2 am with my friend just to make a video. We finished it and then I went to popstaronline.com and saw that they already chose the top ten. I got really sad that I didn’t get The chance to be in the top ten and I know i’m be down tomorrow during school because they picked the top ten a day before
Did you guys change the dates of the contest from under us? That would just…irritate me to no end.
For I wasn’t entering, my friend was, and this was her dream. And to have it be taken from her just from this should not be right nor fair.
Plus, I bet entries doubled after you already picked the top ten. You should have at least notified us that dates were changing so we could adjust.
Over all I think you need to just accept the entries that have all been post and repick the top ten.

you guys are so lucky! I would give anything to be in the top 12 finalists. when i found out I wasn’t a finalist I was so miserable. I told my mom the next day it was a holiday because I wasn’t in the mood to go to school. she later found out the truth and made me go to school. I told her the reason why I was so miserable and she told me that if I really wanted something to try again and not give up. I won’t give up Austin. I think Bandon Oregon is a great idea… I live in McMinnville Oregon. I sent in a picture and email…. since they had everyone picked a day early and none of them where out of the emails and pictures, it makes you wonder if they even looked at them????? It is just sad.
