“Battlefield” by Jordin Sparks is such a beautiful song. I listen to it a couple of times a day, it says soo much. “Why does love always feel like a battlefield?” , I’m asking this question myself everyday. Life can be unfair and most often in love, but anyway I think that a person sometimes can stay out of the battlefield.

For me, I connect with the song on a very personal level that has to do with my heart being broken. My heart is pretty much dead and this song is the final song of my life as my heart was being shattered and when the gun shot rings at the end of the song, it signifies that my heart and my life died from that experience. It’s an emotional song for me and it’s one of those songs that I just want to scream at the person who hurt me, but the most I can do is sit and listen to it, absorbing each and every note played by every single instrument and every single word sung.
