Adam Levine is opening up about a terrifying incident that he and his wife witnessed while sitting on the balcony of their home in Los Angeles.
The 39-year-old Pitch Perfect actor spoke about the experience during a live taping of this week’s “This Is Important” podcast.
He told his co-hosts:
“This its a true scary thing that just happened. So across the street they were running this like crazy poker game, right?
People were rolling up in like Lamborghinis and Bentleys and Rolls-Royces ad s—t and like old guys, who for sure f—k prostitutes and play cards. And I see these dudes and it’s like fun to sit and watch, [so] me and my wife, we’re sitting up on our balcony, and like, this looks crazy.”
Adam then told the audience that his story was about to take a turn, sharing:
“Someone was murdered there. Someone was murdered.
I called that s—t, I called that s—t. I was like, ‘This is dastardly s—t going down here’ and sure enough, someone is gunned down.”
The man who was shot dead has been identified as 39-year-old Emil Lahaziel. The man reportedly got into an argument outside the house. The suspect is said to have fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
