Twitter is buzzing about the possibility of seeing Adele onstage again after multiple reports came out that the “Rolling In The Deep” singer is considering a Las Vegas residency.

According to Vital Vegas, which previously predicted Celine Dion’s Las Vegas residency, “We shared Celine Dion was doing at residency at Resorts World a full year before it was officially announced, now we’ve got another juicy rumor: Adele is slated for a Resorts World residency, too.”

“Adele has been circling a Las Vegas residency for some time, having been spotted checking out Park MGM at one point. But we hear Resorts World finally won the prize of working with this award-winning songstress,” the report continues. “We understand her residency could start as soon as January 2022. Adele was once in talks with Wynn resort for a residency, and would presumably have made $500,000 a show. We expect Resorts World has struck an even more lucrative deal.”

According to The Sun, she’s also rumored to be doing an interview with Vogue for her musical comeback – and that British Vogue’s EIC was reportedly in NYC the same time as the singer.

Her reps are yet to respond to requests for comment.

Adele hasn’t performed live since her 2017 concert at London’s Wembley Stadium and hasn’t released new music since her 2015 album 25. However, according to The Sun, over the last week, she’s been seen in and out of studios in New York City, sparking speculations that new music might soon be on its way.

Back in March 2019, Adele was also spotted hanging out at a recording studio in NYC, which first sparked speculations that new music was on the way. In February 2020, Adele performed onstage at her bestie Laura Dockrill’s wedding and announced: “Expect my album in September”!

The video, which was captured by a guest, went viral and the announcement hit the headlines at the time. However, work on her album appeared to have been paused amid the pandemic.

In June 2020, Adele posted a photo of herself watching her 2016 Glastonbury performance on Instagram. A fan hopped on the comments section, asking, “Teaser? Albums coming out today???!!!! Tell me now!!!!”

“Of course it’s not. Corona ain’t over. I’m quarantining. Wear a mask and be patient,” she responded at the time.

Another eager fan commented on one of her posts in August last year asking, “Adele where’s the album?”

To which she responded, “I honestly have no idea.”

The “Rumor Has It” songstress also gave an update about her new music when she made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live last October.

“I know there’s a lot of chatter about me being the host. Like, ‘Why is she not the musical guest?’ and stuff like that. Well, there’s a couple of reasons: My album’s not finished, and I’m too scared to do both,” Adele shared during her opening monologue, adding, “I’d rather just put on wigs, have a glass of wine or six, and see what happens!”
