Amber Heard has some big news — she’s now a mother of three!
The Aquaman star, 39, just welcomed twins, adding two new bundles of joy to her family and joining her four-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige. The happy update was confirmed by her spokesperson on Sunday, May 11.
“Amber is delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family,” her spokesperson told People. “Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show.”
Amber followed up the official announcement with a heartfelt message on Instagram later that day, posting on Mother’s Day to reveal the twins’ names and genders.
“Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget. This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years. Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang,” she wrote.
“My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full. When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!! Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully. To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Amber has been vocal in the past about wanting to become a parent on her own timeline. When she first introduced Oonagh to the world in 2021, she shared how she’d decided years earlier to pursue motherhood solo and on her terms.
“I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote at the time. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
Since her very public legal battle with Johnny Depp came to an end in 2022, Amber relocated to Madrid, Spain, where she’s kept a relatively low profile, focusing on family and a quieter life away from the spotlight.
Although it was first reported back in December that Amber was expecting another child, she kept the details private — until now. With the arrival of Agnes and Ocean, Amber seems to be embracing this next chapter wholeheartedly, filled with joy, gratitude, and a whole lot of love (and diapers).
