Anitta fans, we have some unfortunate news—the Brazilian superstar has officially withdrawn from Coachella 2025.
On Friday (March 21), the 31-year-old singer announced via X (formerly Twitter) that she will no longer be performing at the festival next month due to “unexpected personal reasons.”
“I was really looking forward to being at Coachella this year, but due to unexpected personal reasons, I won’t be able to perform,” she wrote. “I’m truly grateful to the festival for the invitation, their understanding, and continued support.”
Anitta, who was set to take the stage on both Saturdays of the festival (April 12 & 19), did not provide further details on her departure. However, she reassured fans that she hopes to return to the iconic festival in the future:
“I hope to have the opportunity to join you all in the future and share that special moment together,” she added.
Anitta made her Coachella debut in 2022 with a high-energy performance that fused Brazilian funk with global pop influences, and she returned to the festival last year. Her absence in 2025 is a disappointment for many, but fans are hopeful that this is just a temporary pause in her ever-evolving career.
