G-Eazy and Ashley Benson are majorly sparking reconciliation rumors.
Two months after reports of their breakup hit the headlines, the former couple has been spotted cruising around Pasadena, California – Ashley was riding shotgun in G-Eazy’s black Ferrari convertible.
And, with Ashley going on Instagram on March 31 with a very cryptic post, which includes “Life is tricky baby, stay in your magic,” and allegedly liking G-Eazy’s social media posts recently, fans are wondering: are they back together?
Backstory: The rapper and the actress first started sparking romance rumors in May of last year – after collaborating on a song. By September, G-Eazy has already met Ashley’s entire family when she took him to her sister’s wedding. However, they reportedly split after less than a year of dating – a source told E! News at the time that “Ashley didn’t like the way he was acting around her. The vibe has just been off. She told him that it’s over.”
So, are they back on or what?
According to an insider, who dished to E! News, “They are in touch and the dust has settled after the fight they had recently.” However, “Ashley doesn’t fully trust him and so it’s still tense between them.”
A source also told Entertainment Tonight, “At this time, there’s nothing left between him and Ashley romantically speaking.”
The source says. “There are no hard feelings on either end now that the dust from their break up has settled, but they’re not rushing to get back together and aren’t talking about getting back together for now.”
Another source told the outlet that G-Eazy has since moved on. “G-Eazy has been dating around and enjoying being single. Him and Ashley aren’t hooking up, back together, or exclusive, but they have reconnected and are talking,” the second source said. “He is playing the field, but having Ashley in his life is important to him and he hasn’t been talking about their relationship with a lot of friends and is trying to protect it.”
But don’t expect Ashley to spill the tea on what’s actually going on between her and G-Eazy. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the Pretty Little Liars star has talked about wanting to keep her relationships private.
“I usually keep my relationships private.” Ashley told the magazine, “You obviously can’t help if you get photographed together. [But] it’s more sacred that way. Those private moments are for you and your partner, and I think it’s best not to be over-exposed, and you can really protect your relationship if you’re not exploiting it.”
Ashley and G-Eazy’s reps are yet to respond to requests for comment.
