Ariana Grande is glowing brighter than ever.

The pop powerhouse has made her way back to the top of the Billboard 200, and this time, it’s with the deluxe edition of her album, Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead. According to Billboard’s April 6 chart data, the album rocketed from No. 87 all the way to No. 1—marking one of the biggest jumps to the top in recent history.

Grande, 31, originally released Eternal Sunshine last year, debuting it with fan-favorite singles like “Yes, And?” and the emotionally raw “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love).” Now, with the release of the deluxe version featuring even more tracks, fans clearly couldn’t get enough. The album earned 137,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the week ending April 3, per Luminate.

This marks the third non-consecutive week at No. 1 for Eternal Sunshine, which continues to showcase Grande’s evolution as both a singer and storyteller. The album blends upbeat, disco-infused pop with moments of heartbreaking vulnerability—something her fans have come to love her for.

The jump from No. 87 to No. 1 is no small feat. In fact, it’s the biggest leap to No. 1 since Travis Scott’s Days Before Rodeo surged from 106 to the top spot back in September 2024. Grande also scored big in other categories: Eternal Sunshine Deluxe re-entered the Top Streaming Albums chart at No. 2 and claimed No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart—its second week overall at the top of that list.

What’s behind the jump? In addition to the deluxe edition offering fresh content for fans to dive into, Grande’s presence in the upcoming Wicked film may have reignited interest in her music catalogue. She’s stayed relatively low-key in the media lately, but when she shows up, she shows up in a big way.

With three weeks at No. 1 and a loyal fanbase fueling her return, Grande proves once again why she’s a staple in today’s pop landscape—and clearly, brighter days really are ahead.
