Ariel Winter was celebrated in style at the 4th Annual Legacy Ball, where she received the Legacy Youth Leadership Award. The event, held on Saturday (October 5) at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, honored Ariel for her contributions to youth leadership and mentorship programs.
The night was made even more special with the support of her loved ones. Ariel’s boyfriend, Luke Benward, and her former Modern Family co-star Nolan Gould were on hand to present the prestigious award at the ceremony, which aims to raise funds for leadership and mentoring programs that positively impact young people.
Ariel expressed how deeply meaningful the award is to her, sharing her gratitude in a heartfelt Instagram post. “This will never not be the most special honor I could receive,” she wrote, adding, “thank you so much @legacyyouthleadership. I am so beyond grateful and lucky and PROUD to work with you and can’t wait to continue building up the youth of today to create a much, much better tomorrow.”
Ariel went on to describe the incredible work that Legacy Youth Leadership does to support young people, emphasizing the transformative impact of their programs. “What Legacy does for young people is LIFE CHANGING and desperately needed,” she explained. “The young people that come out of Legacy’s programs (which are free for them!) are truly inspirational.”
In addition to thanking the organization, Ariel gave a special shoutout to the key people in her life who helped make the evening unforgettable. “Thank you again to everyone at Legacy, especially @evan_t_wesley (one of the best humans to ever exist), the two best presenters in the whole world @labenward and @nolangould,” she shared. She also gave love to her family and friends who were present, as well as those who couldn’t attend, including her TV family. “Thank you to my hair and makeup team as well who made me feel so pretty for this super special night,” she added, closing with, “My heart is so full.”
Ariel’s recognition was well-deserved, as her involvement with Legacy Youth Leadership continues to inspire young people to pursue their goals and become leaders. Her advocacy for the organization has made a real difference in the lives of many.
The event also featured appearances by a number of other stars, including presenter Tyler Posey, Gavin Leatherwood, Gus Kenworthy, Max Ehrich, and Nico Greetham, who all came together to celebrate the night’s honourees.
