In a candid new interview, Armie Hammer opened up about the cannibalism accusations and his relationship with ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers, providing insight into a tumultuous period of his life.

If you recall, the 37-year-old actor faced allegations of cannibalism and sexual assault from multiple partners in 2021. Despite these serious accusations, Hammer was not charged with any crimes and continues to deny all criminal wrongdoing.

During an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Hammer delved into the allegations, clarifying that many were based on consensual role-play and kink within his relationships. He also addressed his infidelity during his marriage, revealing he had numerous partners but avoided giving specific numbers.

Hammer emphatically denied being a cannibal. “You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten someone,” he told Piers Morgan, stressing that he had never engaged in such behavior.

When discussing his relationship with Effie Angelova, who accused him of sexual assault and abuse, Hammer described their affair as “a very intense affair, very sexually charged, between two people with very similar proclivities and kinks.” He acknowledged that their private conversations, when viewed out of context, appeared troubling. “Any of those conversations that we [he and Angelova] had inside of that relationship, when you take them outside of that context and put them into broad daylight, it doesn’t look so good,” he said.

Hammer admitted that Effie introduced him to many kinks that he enjoyed. “She had more experience in the area,” he noted. “Different people have different sexual fantasies. And there’s a very broad spectrum of sexuality, and people are allowed to engage with their own sexuality however it fits them and what they do.”

Regarding the cannibalism role-play, Hammer explained it was more metaphorical than literal. It “was just sort of born out of a desire, to sort of like, ‘I want you so completely,’ and ‘I want you so totally’ that it’s almost like ‘I want to eat you,’” he shared.

The actor also touched on other abuse allegations, specifically from ex-girlfriend Courtney Vucekovich. He maintained that he never pushed any sexual boundaries without consent. “There are people that I left who were hurt and who were upset. None of those people were hurt or upset because I pushed any sexual boundaries that they weren’t interested in exploring or trying,” he stated.

Hammer addressed the branding accusation from ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze, suggesting it was misinterpreted. “I wouldn’t say brand. No … There was a scenario that we talked about beforehand, that we had discussed where, you know, I would basically take a little, tiny point and just kind of trace the letter ‘A,’” he claimed. “Just like the tip of a small knife … I mean, there wasn’t even blood in the situation. It was more like a scrape. It’s along the lines of couples getting their own initials tattooed on each other.”

When reflecting on his marriage to Elizabeth Chambers, Hammer admitted to being faithful for a significant period but eventually cheating. He estimated he had been involved with “probably more [people] than the average person would be exposed to” during their relationship. “I wouldn’t say many hundreds,” he clarified. “No, you know, I would say enough.”

Hammer described this phase of his life as “a dark, painful time” and acknowledged his actions. “It’s also something that I have to accept is on me. I had an affair on my wife. Obviously, I’m not the first person in the history of Hollywood to do that, but I did it, and it’s less than becoming behavior that I have to own,” he admitted.

This interview sheds light on Hammer’s perspective regarding the allegations and his personal life, offering a glimpse into the complexities and challenges he has faced.
