Kelso is saying ‘Hello, Wisconsin’ once again!

As previously reported, Ashton Kutcher is set to reprise his That 70s Show role as Michael Kelso in the Netflix spin-off, That 90s Show.

Ashton returns to Point Place alongside his now-wife Mile Kunis, who starred with him as Jackie Burkhart on the original series.

News that the two were coming back to their star-making roles have made fans very happy — and now, Ashton is opening up on how much fun he and Mila had returning to their old stomping grounds.

In a new interview with Variety, he shared:

“It was really nostalgic to be back on the set.

It’s all the same folks that made ‘That 70s Show’ so it was pretty bizarre.”

Ashton went on to share that he and Mila both felt that returning was the right thing to do – and they had a blast doing it:

“Mila and I were contemplating it. We thought, ‘Listen, we’re only in the position that we’re in because of that show, so let’s just go back and do this.

We just went back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun.

It’s really funny. The new cast is phenomenal.”

That 90s Show will be set in 1995 and follows Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna’s (Laura Prepon) daughter Leia Forman (Callie Haverda) going to visit her grandparents for the summer. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will be reprising their roles as Red and Kitty. Other original cast members such as Topher, Laura, and Wilmer Valderrama who played Fez will also be appearing on the new show.
