He was a boy, she was a girl… And now they’re getting married!
Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun have revealed that they are engaged. The proposal happened in Paris, France, when Mod Sun got down on one knee to ask Aril to be his wife with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
The 37-year-old Sk8er Boy singer took to social media to share the happy news of their engagement. She posted photos of the romantic moment, and wrote:
“Oui! Je t’aime pour toujours Dimanche. 27. Mars. 2022.”
Mod Sun also shared photos of the proposal and sweetly penned this note for his bride-to-be:
“The day we met I knew you were the one. Together forever til our days are done. I had a dream where I proposed in paris. I pulled out a ring + asked you to wear it. I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes.
You’re too beautiful for my words to describe. I grabbed your hand + took one last breath… I said ‘will you marry me?’ + she said ‘yes,'” he wrote. “I love you Avril ❤️.”
He proposed with a gorgeous heart-shaped diamond ring.
