Bebe Rexha didn’t hold back when she took to social media to vent her frustrations about her former collaborator, G-Eazy. The 34-year-old singer-songwriter, who co-wrote and performed on G-Eazy’s 2015 hit single “Me, Myself & I,” aired her grievances in a candid Instagram story, sparking a flurry of reactions from fans and media alike.
In a screenshot shared on her Instagram story, Bebe Rexha revealed that she had received offers for joint performances and additional promotional opportunities with G-Eazy. However, her response was far from enthusiastic.
“You have my number. Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser,” Bebe wrote, directly tagging G-Eazy in her message. She didn’t mince words, expressing her disappointment and dissatisfaction with the rapper’s approach.
Her frustration spilled over as she continued, hinting at unresolved issues and implying mistreatment following their collaboration: “You’re lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the s-itty things you’ve done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit. Btw the answer is no. Hope you good.”
Bebe’s pointed remarks not only highlighted her feelings of being undervalued but also alluded to a strained relationship post their successful collaboration on “Me, Myself & I.” The singer’s decision to air these grievances publicly resonated widely, prompting discussions across social media platforms.
As reactions poured in, Bebe Rexha later revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that she had been advised by a team member to remove the Instagram story. Despite taking it down, she stood by her initial sentiments, attributing her emotional response to past traumas.
“Someone from my team had me take down my Instagram story. I decided to remove it because it felt very negative and toxic. Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing. I am writing this because I regret taking it down and I want to say that I still stand by what I said,” Bebe wrote, underscoring her unwavering stance.
G-Eazy, known for his chart-topping hits and collaborations across the music industry, has yet to publicly respond to Bebe Rexha’s remarks.
