Ben Affleck has found himself in some controversy with a Selling Sunset star.
In a recent episode of the show, 30-year-old Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan claimed that she had matched with Ben on dating app Raya right before he rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez. Emma said Ben “may or may not have been texting me,” adding:
“He may or may not have asked to grab coffee a few times.
I didn’t go.”
After her claims hit the headlines, people began questioning the timeline of Ben trying to get Emma to go out with him — especially as he is not engaged to Jennifer. Ben’s rep immediately released a statement saying:
“Raya has confirmed that he has not been an active member for several years.”
After the statement from Ben’s rep, Emma then clarified the timeline, saying that it all happened years ago. She said:
“It was not recent. This was 2019. Literally, the smallest, innocent little thing, and it was taken and blew up out of proportion.
I think on the show, you didn’t see the time frame and it just seemed worse, and it was literally the smallest thing.
End of story. We’re shutting that one down, now.”
