A Renaissance Tour is coming!
Beyonce has confirmed that she will be hitting the road for her album, Renaissance. The 41-year-old made the reveal in a unique way — through an auction!
The superstar was in attendance alongside husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy at the 2022 Wearable Art Gala, which was hosted by Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson. The event was held on Saturday night (October 22) in Santa Monica, California.
During the gala, Bey auctioned of something major: Tickets to her yet-unannounced tour!
Footage from the event that has gone viral on social media showed Bey offering a concert ticket package for auction to support WACO (Where Art Can Occur Theatre Center) and their artistic and mentorship programs. The listing read:
“Concert Ticket Package. Valued at a total of $20,000, United x WACO offers you a chance to see Beyonce on her Renaissance Tour starting in the Summer of 2023 at any of United’s national and international destinations around the world. This prize is complete with 2 First Class International United Airline Polaris tickets to select cities, with 3-Night hotel accommodations at a Marriott property. And, to one of the most sought-after musical performances of all time, 2 concert tickets to Beyonce’s Renaissance 2023 Tour with a guided backstage tour with Miss Tina!”
The concert ticket package reportedly went to the winning bidder for a whopping $50,000.
