Beyonce is a Grammys Goddess. A record-breaking Grammys Goddess.
At the 63rd Grammy Awards last Sunday, March 14, the music icon and superstar won her 28th Grammy award when she was awarded Best R&B Performance for her song “Black Parade”. Earlier in the evening, she won her 27th Grammy when she was awarded Best Rap Song with Megan Thee Stallion for the “Savage” remix.
Before the actual, live ceremony, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy won her first ever Grammy award. The nine-year-old won Best Music Video for the mom and daughter duo track “Brown Skin Girl”. This is Blue Ivy’s first Grammy.
With Beyonce taking home her 28th Grammy Award, she is now officially the most awarded singer and female artist in Grammys history!
When Beyonce and Megan Thee Stallion went on stage to accept the Best Rap Song award, host Trevor Noah announced that Beyonce had now tied the record for most Grammys win for a female artist. Moments later, she would go on to win best R&B Performance, marking her 28th win and making her the new record holder of that incredible feat.
