Beyonce rang in her 39th birthday in style.
The singer turned 39 on Friday (September 4) and she celebrated the occasion with the fam. The Carters – Bey, hubby Jay-Z, eldest daughter Blue Ivy, and twin Sir and Rumi – all jetted off to Croatia and enjoyed some family time cruising aboard a 107 meters long superyacht dubbed LANA.
In photos published by TMZ, the family is seen aboard the luxury vacay vessel. According to the outlet, their impressive ride costs roughly $2 million per week, is longer than a football field and has eight en-suite staterooms, seven VIP rooms and a master suite. It fits up to 12 guests. Oh, and did we mention it’s comes with a 34-person crew as well? PLUS, it also has a pool on deck, theater and spa.
A source also told E! News that Bey and fam didn’t just spend all their time on the water though – they hit up some of the nearby islands.
According to the source, they “all had a great time” on LANA, “took a smaller boat to the heart-shaped island of Galesnjak for a birthday meal,” and “made a few trips to shore where they took photos of the coast and each other.”
So far she hasn’t posted photos from her birthday trip yet. She did post a throwback photo and a birthday message for fans on her website.
“It’s Virgo season,” the message reads. “I want to thank everyone for the birthday love and beautiful birthday wishes!”
Bey got a lot of love from former Destiny’s Child groupmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, as well as her mom Tina Knowles Lawson. And, according to her website, she also donated an additional $1 million to help Black-owned small businesses.
