Billie Eilish has finally commented on her relationship with Jesse Rutherford.
The pair’s romance has been largely under scrutiny because of their 11-year age gap. Billie is 20, while Jesse is 31. Billie has never publicly commented about her boyfriend — until now.
She spoke about her man in Year 6 of her Vanity Fair repeat interview. Billie has taken part in the same Vanity Fair interview for years, with this being her sixth in a row.
Among the questions she always gets asked, year after year, is about her love life. This year, she turned the question into a chance to publicly talk about Jesse for the first time.
Billie said about her boyfriend:
“It’s really cool and I’m really excited and I’m really happy about it.
I managed to get…to a point in my life…where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f***ing f***er alive, but pulled his a**! Are you kidding me? Can we just [get a] round of applause for me?”
She then went on to sweetly say:
“I just am really inspired by this person, and, you know, he’s inspired by me.”
