Brad Pitt just became the latest A-lister to fall victim to a home invasion in Los Angeles.

The 61-year-old actor’s home in the Los Feliz neighborhood was broken into on Wednesday night (June 25) while Pitt was overseas promoting his new film F1. According to People, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m.

Police reports state that the suspects “broke into the residence via the front window, ransacked the location, then fled the location with miscellaneous property.” No arrests have been made yet, and investigators are still trying to identify the three individuals involved. Thankfully, Pitt was not at home when it happened.

Just two days prior, Pitt was walking the red carpet in London for the European premiere of F1, which is now playing in theaters. The high-octane racing drama has been a major talking point in Hollywood, but the actor’s big moment has now been overshadowed by this unsettling event.

Unfortunately, Brad isn’t the only celebrity targeted in recent months. A string of high-profile break-ins has hit the Los Angeles area, affecting stars like Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.

No word yet on the value or specifics of what was taken from Pitt’s home, but the LAPD is actively investigating the case.

The incident adds to a growing trend of targeted burglaries involving celebrity homes in L.A.—a concerning reminder that fame doesn’t come with full-time security.
