Celebs are chopping off their locks – and fans are living for it!
Britney Spears surprised fans on Wednesday (December 16) when she debuted a new look on Instagram.
Brit posted three different selfies, showing off her much shorter blonde locks – the layered cut resting on her shoulders.
“Cut my hair 💇🏼♀️ !!!!” Britney exclaimed in the caption. “You know what they say …out with the old …in with the new !!!!! Now let us pray.”
Her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, is loving the new look. He hopped on the comments section to post four red heart emojis, and wrote, “I love it.”
Another celeb who has updated her look is Gigi Hadid – who now has bangs!
After making her long-awaited return to New York City, Gigi debuted the wispy bangs framing her face on Instagram – the cut courtesy of Los Angeles-based celebrity hairstylist Alejandra Hernandez, whom she tagged in her post.
“fresh snow fresh cut,” she captioned the photo.
Fans were quick to point out how much she and younger sister Bella Hadid look so much alike with her new ‘do. Bella sported similar bangs in April, which she cut herself during the lockdown.
Speaking of snow, Gigi and boyfriend Zayn Malik, who spent much of the pandemic at her mom Yolanda Hadid’s farm in Pennsylvania, are now back in the Big Apple, along with their daughter, whom they welcomed in September. Their recent return to New York had their little bundle of joy experiencing snow for the first time.
Gigi celebrated the occasion by posting a photo of her all bundled up and pushing a stroller as she took her daughter for a walk along the snowy streets of New York.
