Is there a newly-escalating feud between Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera?
The 40-year-old “Toxic” pop superstar has dropped a comment about the 41-year-old “Beautiful” songstress body while speaking about her own experiences performing.
Britney has been very candid on social media since being freed from her conservatorship back in 2021. Her most recent post has sparked controversy because of how she brought Christina into the mix.
She posted a meme that stated:
“I found there was only one way to look thin: Hang out with fat people.”
The caption that Britney wrote alongside the meme mentioned Christina. In the caption, Britney reflected on her dancers and how she felt while performing next to them. As she shared her experiences, she commented on Christina, saying:
‘I mean if I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small.
I mean why not talk about it?? Don’t you think my confidence would have been a big better if I could choose where I lived, ate, whom I called on the phone, dated and who was on stage with me!!!”
If you can recall, Britney called out Christina last year, seemingly alleging that Christina was not supportive of Britney during her conservatorship.
