Brooklyn Beckham is considered among the world’s most desirable young men — but even he was not immune to some hilarious and potentially stressful relationship scenarios!
The 22-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham is a budding chef who has a new cooking show on Instagram titled Cookin’ With Beckham. In the latest episode of his show, Brooklyn opened up about his proposal to fiancee Nicola Peltz and how she made him sweat it out!
Brooklyn candidly shared what happened when he proposed:
“Over a year ago now. I got like a bunch of flowers and candles. I got down on one knee and got the ring out and she didn’t have a clue what I was doing.
She just started crying her eyes out, but she didn’t say yes for like five minutes. I was sweating like ‘oh no,’ it was a long five minutes.”
He also revealed that if the pandemic “wasn’t a thing” he and Nicola would already be married!
In other Beckham news, Brooklyn’s parents gave a super adorable glimpse into their holiday family festivities. On Christmas Eve, Victoria shared a video of David roasting chestnuts on an open fire while crooning the classic Christmas tune, Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song.”
Victoria jokingly said in the video:
“Oh my god, he’s actually — you’re trying hard with that vocal!”
To which David hilariously quipped:
“Oh, I’m sorry. I’m sorry, Adele.”
Victoria cutely captioned the video:
