Exes Bruce Willis and Demi Moore have been quarantining with their three daughters – Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah – in Idaho for over a month now.
Earlier this month, Tallulah shared an epic photo of the people she’s quarantining with, all rocking matching green-and-white striped PJs.
“Chaotic neutral,” she captioned a photo of her parents, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, big sis Scout, her boyfriend, Dillion Buss, and several of the family’s pets all sporting the quirky ensemble.
Bruce and Demi split way back in 2000, but have remained close as they raised their daughters together. They’ve both since gotten married to other people – Bruce tied the knot with Emma Heming in 2009 and now share two daughters together; Demi was married to Ashton Kutcher from 2005-2013.
Tallulah’s post however, got fans wondering about the unorthodox quarantine set up, with many wondering why Bruce wasn’t staying home with Emma and their kids.
But, apparently, Bruce didn’t exactly intend to isolate with his ex-wife.
In a recent interview on the Dopey podcast, Scout gave the lowdown on what’s up.
“My stepmom was supposed to come up here with my little sisters, but my younger sister, who is now about to be [six] years old, at a park, had never gotten the talk about not f**king with hypothermic needles that she found,” Scout explained. “So she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot.”
“My stepmom had to be in L.A. waiting to get the results from taking her to the doctor,” she continued. “So my dad came up here and then travel got crazy so my stepmom stayed in L.A. with my little sisters.”
But Scout admitted that it’s “actually been really cool” to have her parents together.
“It’s been so funny because to me they’re just like, my super f**king weird parents, but to everyone else, they’re at this different level,” she said.
“It’s been really funny to have both of my parents in the house where they raised us, which has been really cute,” Scout later added. “They’re both such nerdy, adorable, ’90s parents in a small town where they chose to have their kids and not be in L.A. It’s been pretty cute.”
“It’s some divine timing too, of getting this much time to hang out with them,” she shared.
It’s understandable that as co-parents, Bruce and Demi have stayed friendly. But, apparently, Demi and Emma are pretty close too.
“Demi and Emma are close, and all three get on great as a big blended family. There are no issues at all. Emma needed to stay in L.A. with the young kids,” a source told People.
“Bruce, Demi and Emma have always had a great relationship and are good friends and none of this is weird to them. It’s outside people who are making it more than it is,” another source told Entertainment Tonight.
So there you have it, folks. There’s no drama here.
