All’s well that ends well, it seems.
Candace Cameron Bure and JoJo Siwa have cleared the air after JoJo revealed in a TikTok video that Candace is the “rudest celebrity” that she has ever met.
The 46-year-old Full House actress shared on social media that she reached out to the 19-year-old Internet sensation to get to the bottom of it all. And now, Candace stated, things are “all good” between the two of them.
Candace took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a video in which she addressed JoJo’s TikTok post, which had quickly gone viral. She said that she reached out at once through a mutual friend, then through her manager, before she finally sent a DM so she and JoJo could talk it out.
In the video, Candace said:
“So, I was finally able to talk to JoJo this morning. I called her, and we had a great conversation. And she was like, ‘Hey, how you doing?’ And I said, well, I’ve been better. What happened?”
She went on, explaining that she and JoJo met once at the Kelly Clarkson Show and that their encounter went well. JoJo apparently agreed, which left Cameron wondering what led to JoJo labeling her “rudest celebrity.” Candace stated that JoJo didn’t want to dish the deets at first but that she ultimately revealed the encounter she was referring to:
“She said, ‘You know, I met you at the Fuller House premier and I was 11 years old, and we were all on the red carpet and I had come up to you and I said, Can I have a picture with you and you said to me not right now. And then proceeded to do what you were doing, and take pictures with other people on the red carpet.’”
Candace apologized to JoJo after JoJo recalled what happened, and then she said that JoJo responded by saying:
“‘Yeah, no, no, no. You weren’t even mean! And I get it now as an adult.’”
The Fuller House star said in addition that JoJo said she did not expect the “silly” TikTok video to gain so much traction. Candace said she and JoJo “had all the feels and it was all good,” concluding with:
“There’s no drama. That’s the tea.”
