Cardi B is officially entering her next era—and it’s dripping with drama. The Grammy-winning rapper just announced her second studio album, and fans are already counting down the days.

The 32-year-old star revealed that her sophomore album, titled AM I THE DRAMA?, will drop on September 19. It’s been a long time coming. Her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, dominated the charts and broke records in 2018. Now, she’s ready to top it.

According to a press release, the project “marks a bold evolution in her sound and storytelling,” and it’s not just trying to keep up with her debut—it’s aiming to surpass it. “Marking a bold evolution in her sound and storytelling, the project arrives after her record-breaking debut album Invasion of Privacy — not just aiming to top it, but showing how far she’s come and how much more she has to say,” the statement reads.

Fans can now preorder limited-edition merch bundles that include vinyl, CD, and box sets at CardiB.com.

To hype the album, Cardi dropped her latest single, “Outside,” which has already hit No. 1 on Apple Music this weekend. The track marks her first chart-topping solo release since 2021’s “Up.”

She’s also added a little throwback energy to the album: both 2020’s “WAP” (featuring Megan Thee Stallion) and “Up” will appear as the final two tracks on the 23-song lineup.

And fans won’t have to wait long to see her live. Cardi is set to perform at LadyLand Festival in Brooklyn on June 27.
