Cardi B has shared some unfortunate news with her fans. On Wednesday, October 23, the chart-topping rapper took to social media to announce that she had to cancel her upcoming performances at ONE Music Fest in Atlanta, Georgia, originally scheduled for October 26 and 27. The reason? A “medical emergency” that has landed her in the hospital.
Cardi expressed her disappointment in an Instagram post, explaining why she had to make this last-minute decision. “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE Music Fest,” Cardi wrote. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend, and I really wish I could be there.”
Though the rapper didn’t go into detail about the nature of the emergency, her heartfelt message made it clear how much she regretted not being able to take the stage. Cardi’s fans, affectionately known as the “Bardi Gang,” have always been supportive, and she took a moment to thank them for their understanding. “Bardi Gang – thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all,” she added, reassuring fans that she’ll be back in action once she’s fully recovered.
In the accompanying caption, she once again thanked her fans for their support, writing, “Thank you guys for understanding. I will see you soon.”
While the exact details of Cardi’s medical emergency remain private, this isn’t the first time the rapper has faced health challenges recently. Back in August, Cardi revealed that she had suffered a “freak accident” while pregnant with her third child. Fortunately, both she and the baby were fine, and she gave birth in September without complications.
