Cardi B is addressing a big rumor about her and her husband, Offset.

The music power couple dropped a new song called “Jealousy” on Friday (July 28). When the announcement of the track’s release came out, some fans started to wonder if the pair faked a very public fight that they had last month as promotion leading up to their song.

Back in June, Offset publicly accused Cardi of cheating on him. She responded to his accusation with a song. Now, fans are saying that the entire fight and exchange was a “stunt” to draw attention and publicity.

Well, Cardi is clapping back at the speculations.

On Instagram, she responded to a fan who said that she and Offset just set fans up the month before. She stated:

“It wasn’t no STUNT. Tasha K made some ish up and yall was laughing about it and happy a-s hell about it.

Now that we putting it in the music is a stunt … Naaa baby be mad at the one who started trolling wit it.”

She then shared the message on Twitter and noted that it turned into “a different narrative” about them.

Tasha K is a YouTuber who made several claims about Cardi in 2019 — including that Cardi was unfaithful in her relationship with Offset. Cardi took her to court, winning a multi-million dollar lawsuit.
