Cardi B and Offset are calling it quits!

The “WAP” rapper has filed for divorce from her hubby of three years on Tuesday (September 15) in Fulton County, Georgia, and a hearing has been set for November 4.

“It indeed appears that Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in Fulton County, Georgia earlier today. The hearing is set for Nov 4, 2020. Wishing them both the best,” attorney and author Adrienne Lawrence wrote on Twitter along with a capture of the alleged filing.

Cardi may have actually hinted that this was coming days ago, when she posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram Story that reads: “Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time.” She also captioned it, “it’s time 😉.”

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Cardi is listed as the plaintiff and Offset is the defendant. And according to Hollywood Unlocked, the divorce filing is being contested.

As for the demands, Cardi is seeking primary custody of their two-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari, and also wants Offset to pay for child support. Plus, she’s reportedly asking for “an equitable division of all marital assets” and wants Offset to be ordered to pay for all her legal expenses.

According to the documents, they’re also currently separated, with Cardi noting that their marriage is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”

The rap power couple secretly tied the knot in September 2017 – but it wasn’t until June 2018 that they confirmed that they got married. It hasn’t exactly been wedded bliss all throughout though – they’ve gone through some pretty public breakups and makeups over the years amid reports that Offset had been unfaithful.

A source says Cardi has come to a point when she’s had enough of the alleged cheating.

“Offset has pretty much cheated the entire time [they’ve been together], but Cardi looked the other way because of the baby,” the source told PEOPLE. “She also didn’t want to be embarrassed. But she’s had enough.”

Cardi previously defended her decision to stay with her man, telling Vogue in January, “When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me. A lot of women felt disappointed in me.”

“But it’s real-life s–t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation,” she continued.

Up until last month, the two were still posting photos of each other on social media.

On August 20, Cardi promoted Offset’s group, Migos’, new music video. And Offset was still gushing about his wife on August 7, sharing a photo of them kissing and another praising her for her “WAP” music video.

“So proud of my wife. She works so hard and her creativity and mind is out this world,” he wrote in part.

Cardi and Offset’s reps are yet to respond to requests for comments.
