Cardi B broke some major news on Sunday’s (June 27) BET Awards – she and Offset have another little one on the way!
The Invasion Of Privacy rapper, who went into the evening with five nominations – she took home the trophies for Best Collaboration and Video Of The Year for “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion – joined Migos onstage and made the sparkling revelation during their live performance.
The expecting mom gave a fiery performance in a custom diamond-studded Dolce &Gabbana jumpsuit strategically cut out to show off her growing baby bump.
Just minutes before she was set to go onstage, Cardi also shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a photo of herself in body paint with her belly in full display. She simply captioned the post, “#2” and tagged Offset – he later shared the news on his Instagram Story, writing, “Another blessing.”
Apparently, Migos was already teasing about Cardi’s big news just before the awards show as well.
“The most electrifying show on earth,” Quavo told Entertainment Tonight about their performance. “The Migos are going to break the stage.”
“We’re coming with everything, diamonds hitting,” Offset added.
Cardi and Offset, who secretly tied the knot in 2017, are already parents to two-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus. Back in 2018, Cardi announced her first pregnancy in a similar fashion, debuting her baby bump during her Saturday Night Live performance.
Some fans also noted that Cardi “pulled a Beyonce” – referencing Queen Bey’s surprise announcement about her pregnancy with Blue Ivy during the 2011 MTV VMAs.
