Cardi B is opening up about her divorce.

ICYMI, the “WAP” rapper has filed for divorce from her hubby of three years on Tuesday (September 15) in Fulton County, Georgia, and a hearing has been set for November 4.

According to the documents, they’re already separated, with Cardi noting that their marriage is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”

The now-estranged couple share a 2-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari. However, their marriage hasn’t exactly been wedded bliss – they’ve gone through some pretty public breakups and makeups over the years amid reports that Offset had been unfaithful.

On Monday, Cardi went on Instagram Live to tell her fans to stop believing the rumors about their divorce – she says it’s not because Offset “got a girl pregnant.”

“People were just flooding me with … ‘Oh, Offset got a girl pregnant.’ And this is where the s–t came from. Ain’t that about a b—h,” she said during the live. “That is why I be telling y’all to stop believing … what people be saying, these blogs are saying, especially blogs that have a certain type of hatred toward me.”

She also addressed claims that the divorce was just a PR stunt.

“I want to address another bulls— that I heard,” said Cardi. “Another blogger claims that I am getting a divorce for attention. And it’s like, you think I’m going to pay a lawyer 20,000 f–king dollars?”

“I get along with his mother very well,” she continued. “You think I’m gonna do that to her son for attention? Why do I need attention? You don’t see I have millions of f–king followers? Do you see that I have the No. 1 song in the f—king world? Why do I need attention? Why do I need stunts?”

Since news of their split hit the headlines, Cardi has received a lot of support from fans. Last week, Cardi also went on Instagram Live to respond to the outpouring of love – and also got candid about their split, assuring fans she’s doing fine.

“I want to say thank you so much. However, like, I don’t really need it,” Cardi said. “I’m okay. I want to let you know I have not shed not one tear.”

“I just got tired of f—king arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye,” she continued. “When you feel like it’s not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I rather just be … you know what I’m saying? Like, I’m tired of people.”

“Nothing crazy out of this world happened. Sometimes people really do f—— grow apart. I’ve been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man,” she later added. “You just get tired of the arguments and the buildup. You get tired sometimes. And before something bad happens, before you get left, before you get cheated on, you sometimes just want to leave. What is so bad about that?”

Cardi has previously confirmed that her husband has cheated in the past, which caused marriage woes between them. The two later reconciled, and, in an interview earlier this year, opened up about her reason for staying.

“When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me. A lot of women felt disappointed in me,” she told Vogue in January.

“But it’s real-life s–t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation,” she continued.
