Cardi B has opened up about where things stand between her and her estranged husband, Offset.
Over the weekend, Offset celebrated his 33rd birthday at a club in Miami, where Cardi, 32, was also spotted. While it’s unclear if the two were there together, the internet quickly speculated after videos of them at the same venue went viral.
In response, Cardi took to X Spaces (formerly Twitter Spaces) to give an update on their current dynamic, revealing that they’ve reached a more peaceful phase.
“We’ve been peaceful for over a week, so we like the energy,” Cardi said during her live chat, as reported by The Jasmine Brand. “We ain’t beefin’. We ain’t really speaking. So I think we’re getting to a point that is, we’re really healthy co-parenting.”
The couple, who share three children—Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and a baby girl born this past September—have had their ups and downs since Cardi filed for divorce in August. While tensions flared in the months following the split, Cardi explained that the past week has felt refreshingly drama-free.
“We’ve been really happy. I feel like this week has been the less drama week,” she said. “‘Cause for the past three months, it’s been drama, it’s been arguing, it’s been craziness. But this week, it’s been like, eight days that there’s no drama, there’s no bulls–t. It’s getting to the point where everybody’s moving on very healthy.”
Cardi also hinted that both she and Offset have started seeing other people, noting that they’ve adopted a mutual understanding when it comes to their dating lives.
“You heard I’m with a n—a, don’t bother me,” she explained. “I hear you with a b—h, I don’t bother you. So we’ve been on good terms.”
For now, it seems the pair are prioritising their kids and co-parenting relationship, with Cardi expressing gratitude for the calmer energy between them. The shift is a welcome change for the rapper, who has been vocal about the challenges of navigating a high-profile breakup while raising a family.
Offset, who hasn’t publicly commented on their current relationship status, has also been spotted spending time with their children in recent weeks.
