Are Cardi B and Offset reconciling?
The “WAP” rapper celebrated her 28th over the weekend – and celebrated with a big bash at a club in Vegas. But that didn’t end there – according to TMZ, the party moved to a private home later in the night.
So, where does Cardi’s estranged hubby, Offset, fit in all this?
Well, fans are speculating that the estranged couple may be on their way to a reconciliation because it LOOKS like the couple may have found a way to work things out.
In photos and videos published by TMZ, Cardi was caught on cam kissing Offset and was also videotaped twerking on top of him Saturday (October 10) night. Plus, there’s Offset’s OTT gift for the birthday girl – a Rolls Royce with Kulture’s name embroidered on the seat.
But before all that went down, Cardi went on social media to share a video of a billboard featuring her and two-year-old daughter Kulture in matching pink outfits, which read, “Happy Birthday Mommy Love, Kulture.”
The post was cryptically captioned, “Thank you sir 😏😏😏I love it.”
What are the odds of Kulture pulling off a grand gesture like that at two? So, fans believe that the lavish gift is also from none other than Offset, whom she filed to divorce from last month.
ICYMI, Cardi asked for a “dissolution of marriage” from her hubby of three years in Fulton County, Georgia in September and a hearing has been set for November 4.
She’s also opened up about the reason for the split – and she shut down rumors that Offset had cheated on her and is expecting a child with another woman.
“Nothing crazy out of this world happened. Sometimes people really do f–king grow apart.” she said in an Instagram Live.
“Every single time that this guy has been so crazy, so f–ked up and it hits the media, I’m always crying, always sad because I don’t like that type of s–t,” she admitted. “This time, I wasn’t crying. You want to know why? The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that s–t that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating.”
“I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way,’” she explained. “That’s a whole f–king complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bulls–t. I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man… sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave.”
She also reportedly told her followers on OnlyFans that being single was her choice and that she “could date any man I want.”
“You cannot hurt my feelings trying to throw the divorce in my face because, at the end of the day, I decided I wanted to leave,” Cardi said. “I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again. I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.”
But now that they’ve kissed, are they about to make up?
Meanwhile, it seems another star is moving on from her marriage and has recently dipped her toes back in the dating pool.
In a video published by TMZ, Kristin Cavallari was spotted locking lips with a mystery man at Fulton Market in Chicago, where the Very Cavallari star has a shop nearby.
According to the outlet, the man has since been identified as comedian Jeff Dye, host of the Jeff Dye’s Friendship Podcast. The standup comedian was a finalist on Last Comic Standing back in 2008. He’s also appeared on several MTV comedy shows and was recently a guest panelist on The Masked Singer.
A blossoming romance is still a huge question mark at this point. According to a source, “Kristin is having fun and is enjoying getting back into the dating scene,” per Entertainment Tonight.
“Kristin and Jay were together for a decade and broke up several months ago, so she’s not rushing anything,” the source adds. “Kristin and Jeff were having a fun time, but nothing too serious right now.”
However, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that they’ve recently started following each other on Instagram.
Kristin is currently in the midst of her divorce from estranged husband, Jay Cutler. They announced their split back in April after 10 years together, and she’s since opened up about her decision to split as well as her excitement for the future.
“It was the hardest decision I’ve ever made,” Kristin told PEOPLE. “Every relationship has their stuff. I met Jay when I was 23. I was a baby. Jay and I had so much love for each other, but we grew up. When you work at something for so many years and nothing’s changing, I think you have to just make a decision. We all want to be happy.”
“I’m proud for making this decision,” she continued. “It wore at me every single day for years. I feel like my whole world is opening up now because of it, and I’m just feeling the best I’ve felt in a really long time. I’m really excited about the future all around.”
