Celebrities have been all over social media to celebrate the Los Angeles Dodgers’ first World Series win since 1988.
The Dodgers faced the Tampa Bay Rays at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on Tuesday (October 27), and won Game 6 3 to 1, bagging their seventh World Series title.
“Congratulations @Dodgers! What a fantastic championship,” Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted, along with a video of him delivering announcer Vin Scully’s iconic kick-off phrase: “It’s time for Dodger baseball.
“This. Makes. Me. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Happy. 😭🙌 Congrats @dodgers,” Zachary Levi wrote on Instagram, adding, “What a doozie of a year.”
Alyssa Milano shared a throwback photo of herself sporting a Dodger jersey, captioned, “TEARS! Woooooohoooooo! Thank you, #Dodgers!”
Natalia Bryant also shared a throwback photo of her and late dad, Kobe Bryant, who was wearing a L.A. cap in the pic.

Just two weeks ago, the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA title, and the Lakers’ official Twitter account celebrated another win for the city, tweeting, “City of Champions: Huge congrats to our guys that finished their job 🏆🏆”

@Lakers & @Dodgers fans!!! LA is the city of CHAMPIONS 🏆🏆” LeBron James, who led the Lakers to victory earlier this month, also tweeted.
