Thanksgiving celebrations might be a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be an enjoyable affair. The guest list might be a little short, but there are still our favorite Thanksgiving dishes to look forward to.

Even celebrities are looking forward to chowing down on their faves! From the traditional turkey and stuffing to the not-so-traditional twists to Thanksgiving treats, Hollywood stars are dishing on their favorite eats for the holiday.

Lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow likes to go the traditional route for Thanksgiving – but she’s also got a clever hack that can be used for this year’s more intimate celebrations.

“Turkey will always be the main event of Thanksgiving (at least in my house) and a whole turkey is the way to go if you’re feeding at least 12. But if your party is smaller, the stuffed turkey breast turns out to be a great halfway point,” she previously shared with Huffington Post.

Jessica Alba gears up to cook a traditional feast for the holiday.

“I like to cook it all! I like turkey; I like stuffing; I like candied yams — I like it all!” she said, via InStyle.

However, Chrissy Teigen has expressed that she isn’t exactly a fan of Thanksgiving’s traditional bird – and prefers to make an alternative dish.

“Screw turkey. Turkey sucks. Turkey is gross! I do two whole roasted chickens because chicken is so much better and you can still get a great gravy out of it. I just really feel like people feel like they’re forced to eat turkey, and nobody really enjoys it. Surprise everyone. Serve them chicken, and they’ll be much happier,” she told InStyle in a 2017 interview.

Speaking of alternatives, Meghan Markle, a.k.a. the Duchess of Sussex, also has one – Cornish game hens.

“If you’re looking for an alternative to the famed and lauded turkey dinner that’s oh-so-popular this time of year, look no further than this delicious and easy recipe for Cornish game hens from Stanley Tucci’s delightful cookbook, The Tucci Table,” she previously shared on her now-defunct blog The Tig.

Jessica Biel, on the other hand, is all about the pies.

“One pie, two pie, three pie… snore. I hope you all enjoy your food coma naps and family time today. Happy Thanksgiving!” she once shared on Instagram.

Gigi Hadid may have a new role in the fam – she’s now mom to her baby girl with boyfriend Zayn Malik – but she’ll always be the pie girl on Thanksgiving.

“I always make pies for Thanksgiving. I’m the pie girl,” she told WWD. “I love rhubarb pie, I love apple pie and pumpkin pie and blackberry pie — but sometimes that mixes with the rhubarb into one [pie].”

Taylor Swift is known for her baking skills, but she doesn’t seem to be against ordering a yummy side or two for the holiday – particularly the sweet potato casserole from Del Frisco’s Grill.

“I’ve never enjoyed anything with the word casserole in it ever before, but it’s basically sweet potatoes with this brown sugary crust,” she previously told InStyle. “Oh my God, it’s amazing.”

Meanwhile, mom-to-be Emma Roberts totally goes for the stuffing – even if it’s not Thanksgiving.

“On Thanksgiving we always just have a big feast. Stuffing is my favorite food in the world! I actually have been known to go buy stuffing and make it in the middle of summer,” she previously revealed to Us Weekly.

For Tinashe, no Thanksgiving spread is complete without her go-to side dish.

“I’m a massive mashed potatoes fan through and through. I think that’s the hero. If there are no mashed potatoes at your Thanksgiving, what are you doing?” she once shared with Hip Hollywood.
