2020 saw a lot of stars welcoming new additions to their family. For many, this season is extra special – it’s their first holiday with a baby of their own. Check out these celebrity couples who became first-time parents this year.

Ashley Graham and Justin Ervin welcomed their son Isaac Giovanni on January 18th. Ashley has been sharing her pregnancy journey, and later motherhood, with fans on social media.

Maren Morris and husband Ryan Hurd became first time parents on March 23rd, with the arrival of their son Hayes.

Anderson Cooper welcomed his son Wyatt on April 27th. The adorable baby boy already has a title under his belt – he’s been named People’s Cutest Baby Alive!

Iggy Azalea surprised fans in June when she announced she has a son, sharing that she wants to “keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret.” She later revealed his name is Onyx.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita welcomed their little boy Beckett via surrogate on July 7th.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner never publicly confirmed the pregnancy, but numerous sightings of Sophie sporting a baby bump earlier this year pretty much gave it away. Joe and Sophie welcomed their daughter Willa on July 22, announcing the birth via a statement from their reps.

Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt welcomed their first child together in August – a baby girl named Lyla. This is Katherine’s first child – Chris is also dad to 8-year-old son, Jack.

In August, Ed Sheeran made a quick return to social media amid his hiatus to announce that his wife Cherry Seaborn has given birth to their baby girl. “We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here,” Ed wrote.

Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke announced the arrival of their son on August 11th.

Lea Michele and Zandy Reich welcomed their baby boy Ever Leo on August 20th – and Lea has been sharing snippets of their journey as parents with fans on social media.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced the birth of their daughter, Daisy Dove, towards the end of August. “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” they wrote in their statement via UNICEF. This is Katy’s first child – Orlando is also dad to nine-year-old son Flynn.

Constance Wu and Ryan Rattner reportedly welcomed a baby girl over the summer. Constance never actually publicly confirmed she was pregnant. And she’s pretty much stayed out of the public eye since the coronavirus lockdowns began in March, and news of baby came as a surprise to many.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik announced the birth of their first child on social media in September. The couple’s been pretty private when it comes to their baby girl – they’ve kept the little one’s name underwraps. However, Gigi has slowly been giving fans glimpses of their little bundle of joy on social media.

In September, Melissa Benoist announced that she and Chris Wood welcomed their little bundle of joy weeks earlier. She also shared their baby boy’s name: Huxley Robert Wood.

Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty received a very special gift on their first wedding anniversary in October – the couple welcomed a baby boy. Nicki shared the happy news, posting a photo of their son’s tiny foot on Instagram.

Emma Roberts and boyfriend Garrett Hedlund just got the most precious gift this holiday season – the arrival of their son, Rhodes, on December 27.
